As a developing writer, it is important to find and participate in a community that shares your interest and passion for writing.
1. Check the list of upcoming writing events such as festivals, open mics, and readings.
2. Attend an event where poetry is being read or performed.
3. Take notes on what you observe about the poets reading/performance style and the types of poems they are reading/performing.
4. Write a response that describes your experience and what you observed.
Submit your response as a blogpost. (Add a picture/video if you are able to capture one.)
