On Design and Build Saturdays with LEGO, participants actively explore a specific design element at Frank Lloyd Wright's Robie House and learn how Wright used design to solve both aesthetic and practical problems. Then, they solve a similar design problem with LEGOs in the Robie House LEGO Studio. Finally, they have the opportunity to incorporate their design element into a LEGO house model during open design time. Participants that have earned a LEGO Architect badge have looked critically at one of America's most iconic houses, used real life examples to solve design problems using geometry and scale, and successfully incorporated a specific design element into a 3D model.
