The youth received this badge as a part of the Your Story, Your Way Journalism program. Throughout the duration of the program, youth are expected to participate in class discussions based on the audio pieces they are working on. The teaching journalist will lead discussions asking youth to reflect on their audio pieces and how it can benefit the community. Along with discussion participation, youth will have had to present their audio pieces during the Yollocalli Art Exhibition at the end of the 10 weeks.

Critera

  1. [required] Audio Work (react piece) is provided to the Yollocalli teaching journalist and is assessed based on the Difusion Media curriculum which focuses on 4 dispositions - Conscientious Writer/Producer of Media; Being a Critical Investigator Committed to Truth; Reflection; and Mentorship/community. Once the work has been assessed by the teaching journalist, it will be added to the Yollocalli Arts Reach Soundcloud.
