Spark Alumni Ambassadors are tasked with learning more about the Spark Program in order to provide enhanced service and knowledge to Spark School Partners, Spark Students, and Spark Mentors. They will act as leaders modeling Spark values and skills in service to the Spark Program. Skills they will demonstrate are: Networking, Goal Setting, Problem Solving, Teamwork, Time Management, Creativity & Innovation, Mapping their Future, and Public Speaking.

Critera

  1. Students will research Spark by using the Spark Program website to learn about Spark’s mission and impact of Spark’s work. Special attention should be paid to connecting Spark’s work to Chicago’s educational landscape.
  2. Alumni Ambassadors are required to demonstrate the skills they learned while participating in the Spark Program. These skills will aid them in actively giving back to their K-8 schools, Spark, and their communities through leadership and program support.
  3. Students are required to attend a Match Event at a school once their content is approved.
